BALTIMORE, Md. – Norfolk State won its second straight easy matchup and its third straight overall as the Spartan men's tennis team defeated Coppin State by a 6-0 score on Saturday morning at the CSU Tennis Courts.

The Eagles forfeited the matches at No. 5 and 6 singles, and the two teams did not play doubles. The victory improved NSU's record to 5-12 on the year.

A day after defeating UMES and dropping only four games the entire day, the Spartans again made quick work of their opponent, this time Coppin State (1-6).

Senior
Pascal Domnik defeated Patrick Thomas by a 6-0, 6-0 score at the top spot in the lineup, while senior
Daniel Grauel also won by scores of 6-0 and 6-0 at No. 4 singles against David Ogan.

Freshman
Antonio Pejic earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Gavin Lewis at the third slot, while senior
Igor Braga posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Reginald Robinson at the second position. Coppin State forfeited at the fifth and sixth spots in the lineup.

NSU will host North Carolina A&T on Friday in the last conference match of the year.
