NORFOLK, Va. – After losing eight games over two weekends due to inclement weather, the Norfolk State softball program has scheduled two doubleheaders to begin making up for those lost games.
 
NSU will host George Washington next Thursday (March 12) at 1 p.m. for a twinbill at the NSU Softball Field. The two teams were originally supposed to meet twice over the two-day Spartan Clash last Saturday and Sunday before unplayable field conditions from snow earlier in the week wiped out the entire tournament.
 
The Spartans will also play a pair of games at Towson on April 1 at 2 p.m.
 
NSU is expected to add two more doubleheaders for later in the season as well. Those dates, times, locations and opponents will be released once everything is finalized.
