NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State University Department of Athletics will host Youth Day this Saturday, Jan. 9, as the Spartan basketball teams host Florida A&M at Joseph Echols Hall.

NSU's first home MEAC games of the year start at 4 p.m. with the women's matchup against FAMU, while the men's teams will tip off around 6 p.m.

Youth in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in an autograph session with Spartan basketball players following the games. Mascots from NSU's various corporate sponsors will be in attendance and available for photo opportunities. 

Tickets are $5 for youth ages 7-17. Children 6 and under will be admitted free. Anyone interested in registering a large group of youth may contact Melody Webb at (757) 823-8404 or mmwebb@nsu.edu.
