NSU Releases Home Football Game Parking Info for Fans

NORFOLK, Va. – With Norfolk State University in the midst of new construction projects on campus, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletes released the following parking information to assist fans at this year's home football games.

On-campus construction has temporarily eliminated many parking spaces on campus which in turn may create more traffic for fewer spaces on home football game days. Fans are encouraged to ride The Tide light-rail system to campus or to take advantage of the free satellite parking lots and shuttle offered on game days.

NSU will use Harbor Park Lot D as the satellite parking lot for the first five games of the season and the Cedar Grove (cruise ship) parking lot for the season finale against Morgan State on Nov. 17. Fans may park at the satellite lots and ride the campus shuttle to William "Dick" Price Stadium beginning two hours prior to game time and up until one hour post-game.

Fans may access on-campus parking by entering University Gates 3, 4 or 6 off Corprew Avenue. Fans may also park at the Marie V. McDemmond Center off Brambleton Avenue and take the campus shuttle to the stadium. On-campus parking passes are $25 for the season and $5 for single-game parking permits. Season parking passes are on sale now at the NSU Ticket Center, and single-game passes may be purchased beginning the Monday prior to each home game. The ticket center is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The campus shuttle from Harbor Park and the McDemmond Center will drop fans off at gate 8 by Echols Hall, on the east side of the stadium. Fans in the Harbor Park and McDemmond lots can pick up the shuttle at the same location after the game.
