NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State (2-5, 1-2 MEAC) looks for its first two-game win streak of the season as it faces Bethune-Cookman (5-1, 3-0) this Saturday in Florida. Kickoff is at 4 p.m. at Municipal Stadium.
The Spartans snapped their four-game losing streak with an emphatic 49-21 win over Howard last week. Bethune-Cookman, meanwhile, has won four in a row and is one of three MEAC schools still unbeaten in conference play, following its 27-13 win at N.C. Central on Oct. 10.
SERIES HISTORY
• Bethune-Cookman leads the all-time series with NSU, 19-7 (with one NSU win vacated).
• The Wildcats have won three straight over NSU. The Spartans' last win was in 2013.
• In the conference's unbalanced schedule, the teams have not played since 2016.

TWO EARN WEEKLY HONORS
Juwan Carter was named MEAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this year following last week's win. He posted a career-high six touchdowns (four passing, two rushing) and accounted for 433 yards of total offense, 377 through the air. He was also named the BoxtoRow HBCU National Player of the Week for his performance.
Sophomore
Justin Redd was selected the MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week, the first time a Spartan has won that award this year. Redd graded out at 89 percent on his assignments and was part of a line that led NSU to 649 yards of offense and 272 rushing yards.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Bethune-Cookman enters this week on a four-game winning streak after a 27-13 win in a nationally-televised game at N.C. Central on Oct. 10. Jimmie Robinson scored on a 54-yard TD reception and a 79-yard kickoff return TD for the Wildcats. B-CU won despite being outgained 391-249.
Only B-CU and Florida A&M (which is ineligible for the league title) are 3-0 in conference, while N.C. A&T is 2-0.
Akevious Williams and Robinson lead the B-CU offense. Williams has a team-high 434 rushing yards and seven TDs. He has also thrown five touchdown passes. Robinson has four receiving touchdowns and averages nearly 30 yards per kickoff return.
