NORFOLK, Va. – With the season now two weeks away, the Norfolk State athletics department announced today that it is currently offering streaming packages for the 2019-20 NSU basketball season.
 
All home NSU women's basketball games and all but one home men's basketball game will be available through the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link, www.NSUSpartans.com/Watch, for the 10th year in a row. It will also mark the fourth year using the Daktronics video board system, giving fans access to different camera angles and replays throughout the game.
 
Season passes for the men go for $45 each, generating a savings of $10 off the game-by-game cost. This pass allows fans to gain access to 11 of the 12 home games this year. The men's package will not include the home game against Florida A&M on Jan. 27, as that will be broadcast by another service, to be announced at a later date.
 
Season passes for the women go for $55 each, generating a savings of $15 off the game-by-game cost. This allows fans to gain access to all 14 home games this year.
 
Instead of a season pass, fans can also purchase single-game and doubleheader passes for basketball through the athletics website. Single game passes go for $5 for a men's or women's game, while doubleheader passes cost $8. A doubleheader pass gives fans access to both games during the nine twin bills this year, including seven in MEAC play (not counting Jan. 27) and two non-conference ones.
 
The video stream for all basketball games will carry the live feed from the NSU Sports Network, the same feed that can be heard on WNSB Hot 91.1 FM when the station is carrying Spartan basketball. Hot 91.1 will broadcast all MEAC men's and women's games, home and away, during the 2019-20 season.
 
The Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link can be found on the front page of the athletics website, under the Multimedia tab at the top. The link can also be found among the social ads in the bottom right next to the scrolling scoreboard.
 
Each broadcast will have a desktop DVR function, allowing fans to pause, rewind and fast forward at their convenience within the live event. Each game will automatically be available in the on-demand video section immediately after the conclusion of the event.
 
Along with desktop and laptop computers, the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming webpage is also accessible via all Android and Apple tablets and smartphones. Fans can watch any live or on-demand Norfolk State athletics event while on-the-go.
 
Subscribers must create a username and password prior to making a purchase. Fans who purchase game-day passes (single game or doubleheader) must buy them the day of the actual contest.
