NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State volleyball program will host walk-on tryouts on Aug. 26 from 4-5 p.m. inside Gill Gymnasium. Those participating in tryouts must be dressed and warmed up by 3:45.

Prior to the tryouts, participants must fill out the compliance form and bring it with them to the actual tryout. The form can also be acquired through the NSU Compliance office located in room 110 in Gill Gymnasium.

In addition, all athletes trying out for the volleyball team must have a current physical, done within the last six months. All athletes must fill out the sports medicine form, which can also be obtained in-person through the NSU Sports Medicine office next to Gill Gym. Athletes trying out can bring a physical form from their doctor but must still fill out the rest of the sports medicine form.

The form(s) must be turned in to the sports medicine office by noon on Aug. 26, no exceptions.
