NORFOLK, Va. – In order to accommodate fans who will be unable to attend men's and women's basketball games for the immediate future, the Norfolk State Athletics Department will offer a special basketball season video streaming package through its web site,
www.NSUSpartans.com.
NSU will stream all men's and women's home games at the fan-friendly cost of $50 for the entire season. All games which are not chosen as part of the conference's TV or digital broadcast lineup will be available to view through
Spartan Showcase Video Streaming.
Single game and doubleheader passes are also available. Single games can be purchased for $10 each, and MEAC doubleheaders can be purchased for $15 for the two games. Single game and doubleheader passes must be purchased on the day of the game.
It was announced on Monday that NSU will conduct non-conference basketball games in November and December without spectators following Governor Ralph Northam's Amendment to the Executive Order 67, temporarily limiting the number of attendees that can gather in sports venues to 250 persons effective until further notice. Echols Hall will be restricted to the team travel parties, essential personnel, media and a limited number of family members during that time.
The NSU women kick off the home slate on Nov. 29 against Salem University at 4 p.m. The Spartan men will play their first game at Echols Hall on Dec. 2 against Old Dominion at 7 p.m.
