Brown to Participate in NACMA Webinar Thursday

NORFOLK, Va.Angel Brown, director of marketing and corporate relations with the Norfolk State Athletics Department, will participate in a webinar this Thursday at noon with the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA).
 
Titled "Rising to the Challenge: A Discussion of Navigating the Business from Black Administrators," the webinar will feature top leaders discussing how to navigate collegiate athletics as a Black professional. Brown will be one of seven speakers who will share their experiences and current roles in college athletics. She is currently in her first year with NSU after joining the department in February.
 
Joining Brown in the webinar will be: Craig Kelley, chief marketing officer at the University of Southern California; Temeka Samuels, deputy athletics director at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; Lauren Taylor, director of marketing and championships at the Southeastern Conference; Ayo Taylor-Dixon, senior associate athletics director of external operations at Georgia Tech; Jamaal Walton, associate athletics director of external operations at the College of Charleston; and Alfred White, senior director of marketing and strategic partnerships at the College Football Playoff.
