NORFOLK, Va. – With the start of the new calendar year, Norfolk State Athletics has launched the Spartan 365 Campaign, encouraging supporters to donate at least $365, or $1 a day, to the athletics program at the start of this year.

Following a fall semester that resulted in the postponement of many of the sports seasons and no public ticket sales for home basketball games, Athletics is requesting that Spartan supporters contribute financially to elevate initiatives that continue to promote the academic development, physical training and the well-being of NSU student-athletes.
 
"I'm confident that the continued support for NSU Athletics will allow us to implement new initiatives and programs that support the holistic student-athlete experience," NSU Athletics Director Melody Webb said. "We have turned the calendar to a new year and look forward to many of our teams returning to competition this spring."
