NORFOLK, Va. – Due to the easing of Commonwealth of Virginia COVID restrictions beginning this Saturday, Norfolk State Athletics will have tickets on sale to the general public for Saturday's MEAC Softball Championship.
 
A total of 50 tickets will go on sale beginning today, online only, through the NSU Ticket Office at www.NSUSpartansTickets.com. Tickets are $10 and are good for both games on Saturday, should the second game be needed in the tournament's double-elimination format.
 
Fans who bought this week's three-day pass through the teams do not need to purchase a separate ticket to gain entry to Saturday's championship. COVID-19 restrictions in the state of Virginia will be pushed back to allow for 50 percent capacity at outdoor sporting events beginning on Saturday, up from the current 30 percent.
 
Because of University commencement on Saturday at William "Dick" Price Football Stadium, parking for fans for the softball tournament will be limited in Lots 3 and 4. Those lots are located down Presidential Parkway, accessible through Gate 1 off Park Ave. There is no charge for parking.
