NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State tennis program will host the NSU Green and Gold Tennis Camp beginning this week running through early August. The camp will be held every morning, five days a week for six straight weeks.
 
Cost of the camp is $225 per week. It is open to players ages 8-16 years old. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon each weekday through August 6.
 
To register, complete the registration form, which includes a camp release section, located here. The form can be mailed to the address shown or turned in the Monday morning of the session the player signed up for. Walk-ins are also welcome.
 
Campers will learn proper stroke mechanics, technique and footwork, basic strategies and tactics, how to keep score, and how to play singles and doubles. Players must bring a water bottle, sunscreen, towel, a hat or sunglasses, and snacks.
