Cheruiyot Selected as MEAC Men's XC Runner of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State junior Evans Cheruiyot was named the MEAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Cheruiyot ran the fastest 8K time of the year in the MEAC this past weekend at the Virginia Invitational, coming in 25th with a 25 minutes, 42.8 seconds. This marks his first-ever MEAC weekly honor for cross country.
