| By:
NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State women's volleyball team hasn't met Howard yet this season, but the squads will become quite familiar soon. The Spartans and Bison will play twice this week, once in Norfolk and once in Washington D.C.

NSU (7-15, 7-5) will host the defending MEAC champion Bison (17-9, 10-2) first in an afternoon matchup on Wednesday, Nov. 9. First serve will take place at 12 p.m. in Gill Gymnasium, before the Spartans head to Burr Gymnasium at 6 p.m. on Friday for the final match of the regular season.

The Spartans were originally set to host the Bison on Sept. 30, but the match was postponed due to inclement weather conditions.

Norfolk State fell in five sets to North Carolina Central on Sunday, despite multiple Spartans putting up big numbers. Shonte Seale posted 17 kills, while Carla Hernandez racked up a 13-kill, 11-dig double-double.
