NORFOLK, Va. – For a second week in a row, Norfolk State men's basketball has taken the MEAC Co-Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Joe Bryant Jr. earned Co-Player accolades, while
Kris Bankston tallied the defensive honor.

Across three wins last week, Bryant dominated on both sides of the floor, averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest. His marquee performance came against Hampton, scoring 23 points and pulling in a career-high 14 rebounds.

Bankston anchored Norfolk State's defense last week, protecting the rim with authority. He totaled eight blocks and two steals across three games, while pulling in 7.0 rebounds per contest.
