NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State Athletics Department proudly watched 36 student-athletes crossed the stage on Saturday at William "Dick" Price Stadium, receiving their diplomas after countless hours of hard work in the classroom.
 
11 members of the Spartan football team earned degrees on Saturday, leading all athletic programs. Five women's track & field student athletes graduated that afternoon as well, while women's basketball (4), men's basketball (4), men's track (3), women's tennis (3), softball (2), baseball (2), and bowling (2) rounded out the list.
 
The 36 student-athletes made up one of the largest graduating classes in the department's illustrious history.
