NORFOLK, Va.--- Norfolk State senior
Raphael Kitur received his second MEAC Cross Country Runner of the Week Honors on Wednesday afternoon.
Kitur delivered a strong performance against nationally ranked opponents UNC (7) and UVA (23), finishing the 8k course in 24:37.60 to place 22nd at the Virginia Invitational. The finish marked the fastest 8k time in the MEAC this season.
Norfolk State will next compete in Greenville, N.C. on Oct. 4, at the ECU Pirate Invitational.
