Leslie Young received her second MEAC Field Athlete of the Week honor of the indoor season announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Young delivered a strong performance to lead the Spartans in field events at the D1 Indoor Pre-Nationals, securing third-place in the shot put (44-0.5) and sixth place in the weight throw (54-4.75).

Norfolk State returns to action at the MEAC Indoor Championships taking place Feb. 23-24 at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex.
