Spartans Come up Short at Campbell

Box Score BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team dropped a road contest to Campbell, 4-0, on Thursday evening.
 
Campbell (5-9) won the opening doubles point with comfortable victories on the top two courts. The home team gained a quick edge in singles as well, as Alex Fragasso defeated Igor Kubalka 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 4 position.
 
Aleksander Hudjec took down Michele Elia 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 5 slot before Luke Tollenaar closed the match with a 6-2, 7-6 (7) triumph over Frederick McRae at the No. 3 position.
 
Norfolk State (4-9) returns to action on Wednesday against Frostburg State at NSU Tennis Complex.
