NORFOLK, Va. --- The Norfolk State women's track team swept the weekly MEAC awards with junior
Brooklyn Robinson receiving MEAC Track Athlete of the Week and senior
Leslie Young receiving MEAC Field Athlete of the Week honors, announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Robinson picked up three first-place finishes at the NSU Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 5. She clocked a time of 13.33 in the 100-meter hurdles, while also leading the way in the 100 meters with a time of 11.59. Robinson picked up her third win of the day in the long jump (18.75).

Young won a pair of field events including the hammer throw (171-6) and javelin (129-2). She also took second in discus with a toss of 130 feet, 10 inches.

The Spartan track & field team returns to action Apr. 10-12 at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C.
