NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's basketball team will compete in the 2025 Chris Paul HBCU Classic on Dec. 18-19 at Gateway Arena in Atlanta.
"It's an honor and a privilege to be chosen for the CP3 Classic again," head coach
Robert Jones said. "This is a tremendous field, and we put our undefeated record on the line in this event. Looking forward to the challenge against great competition from the SWAC."
The Spartans open the event against Grambling State at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 18, before facing Jackson State at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 19.
Norfolk State holds a 3-1 all-time record against Grambling State, including a 76-70 victory last season. The matchup with Jackson State marks the first meeting between the programs.
