NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State men's tennis earned a projected top-three finish in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) as the league announced its preseason poll in advance of the upcoming spring season. The Spartans were selected third overall following a vote of the conference's head coaches and sport information directors.
The Spartans enter the 2026 campaign after turning in a 13–12 record a year ago, highlighted by a 3–2 showing against MEAC opponents and a semifinal appearance at the MEAC Men's Tennis Championship Tournament.
Norfolk State brings back experienced leadership in Luka Cvjetkovic and Boris Lunin, while infusing the lineup with eight new student-athletes as the program looks to build on last season's momentum.
NSU will open the spring schedule on Friday, Jan. 30, with a crosstown matchup at Old Dominion, set to be played at the ODU Indoor Tennis Courts.
