Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to South Carolina State on Saturday afternoon at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Courts.
With the loss, the Spartans move to 12-9 overall and 3-1 in MEAC play.

South Carolina State took control early, sweeping all three doubles matches to carry a 1-0 lead into singles play. The Bulldogs claimed wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by identical 6-2 scores, while the duo of Szymon Janzen and Przemek Nikolajuk battled in a tightly contested match at No. 3 before falling 7-5.
In singles action, South Carolina State secured five of the six matches to clinch the victory. Norfolk State's lone point came from Szymon Malecki, who earned a hard-fought three-set win at the No. 3 flight, defeating Iliyas Muratuly 6-4, 4-6, 10-7.
