NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State Athletics invites Spartan Nation to kick off the 2026 football season in style at the Norfolk State Football Kickoff Cruise Fundraiser, presented by Chartway Federal Credit Union, the official bank of Norfolk State Athletics.
Set for Friday, July 24, the exclusive event will take place aboard the Spirit of Norfolk from 9:30 p.m. until midnight, bringing together alumni, supporters, and coaches for an unforgettable evening on the Elizabeth River. Guests will enjoy a unique nighttime cruise experience while celebrating Norfolk State Football and the start of the 2026 season.
The fundraiser serves as a celebration of Norfolk State Football and provides critical support for the continued growth and success of the program under head coach Michael Vick as the Spartans prepare for the 2026 campaign.
Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow supporters of Norfolk State Athletics while investing in the future of Spartan Football. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the football program, enhancing resources and opportunities for Norfolk State student-athletes.
