ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – The Norfolk State bowling team opened its 2007-08 season by going 6-3 at the MEAC Southern Division competition hosted by Bethune-Cookman last weekend.
NSU went 3-1 in team match play on Saturday, defeating Winston-Salem State, Florida A&M and North Carolina A&T, with the only loss coming to Bethune-Cookman. NSU also defeated South Carolina State, but the match did not count in the team standings because the Lady Bulldogs only had four bowlers.
