NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State sophomore Jennifer Chichester (Silver Spring, Md.) earned MEAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, the league announced Wednesday.

Chichester led the Spartans with a fifth place finish at the Baltimore Metro Meet hosted by Towson University. She completed the 5K course with a time of 18:45, which was just 26 seconds off of the course record.

The women's cross country team runs in the UMES Cappy Anderson Invitational in Princess Anne, Md.
