BALTIMORE, Md. – Senior Raphael Hall (Chesapeake, Va.) won the high jump with a clearance of 6 feet, 6.75 inches to lead the Spartan men's track team on Saturday at the Morgan State Legacy Meet at Hughes Stadium.

With the Penn Relays coming up next week, the NSU men sent a smaller contingent to MSU, yet still got some solid performances, many in the field events. First-year sophomore Frede Spellman (Chesapeake, Va.) threw a collegiate-best 50 feet, 0.5 inches to place second in the shot put.

In addition, senior Brett Dodd (San Antonio, Texas) placed third in the pole vault (15-1) and junior Kendrick Richardson (Richmond, Va.) was fourth in the discus throw (135-10).

NSU will compete this week in the Penn Relays before taking a week off prior to the MEAC Outdoor Championships.
