Final Results
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Norfolk State women's 4x100 meter and 4x200 meter relay teams both earned top-20 finishes on Saturday on the final day of competition for the Spartans at the Florida Relays.
The 4x100 relay team of Dania Sanford, Rayiana Johnson, Champagne Bell and Shanneka Claiborne posted a season-best time of 45.69 seconds in earning 12th place out of 32 teams.
A short time later, Johnson, Bell, Claiborne and Wanetta Kirby clocked a time of 1:39.27 to earn 17th place out of 29 teams in the 4x200 relay. It was the first time NSU ran a 4x200 relay this outdoor season.
The Spartans return to action next weekend at the Donald Webster Invitational in Baltimore, Md.
