NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State University junior sprinter Sean Holston was named the MEAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week for April 18, the conference announced.

Holston was the top collegiate finisher and placed second overall in the 400 meters at the Sea Ray Relays last weekend in Knoxville, Tenn. His time of 46.76 seconds is his second-best effort of the outdoor season. Holston also helped the Spartan 4x100 meter relay team take first place in a season-best time of 40.73 seconds.

This is Holston's first weekly conference award of the outdoor season. He won the weekly award once during indoor season.
