PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Norfolk State men's cross country team placed third at the UMES Cappy Anderson Invitational on Saturday.

Freshman Desmond Fogg took 11th and led all Spartan runners with a time of 28:13.56.  Freshman Joshua Carino was not far behind, finishing 17th running a time of 28:42.65.  Freshman Jerome Scurry, senior Aaron Dudley, and Devin Booker finished 21st, 25th, and 33rd, respectively.  NSU completed the meet with 103 points.

The Spartans will travel to Earlysville, Va., next week for the University of Virginia Panorama Farms Invitational.
