NORFOLK, Va. – After three weeks without a match, the Norfolk State women's tennis team returns to action this weekend against North Carolina A&T and Elon.

NSU (0-1) suffered a 7-0 loss at Old Dominion on Jan. 18 at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center in Norfolk, Va.

N.C. A&T (0-3) is coming off of an 8-1 loss to Pfeiffer University on Sunday. Saundra Smith posted the Lady Aggies' only win in the singles competition.

Elon (0-4) fell to Kansas State, 4-3, at the ITA Kickoff Weekend Tournament on Jan. 25 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga. Frida Jansaker, Bryn Khoury and Barbora Lazarova each picked up wins in singles play for the Phoenix.

The match at N.C. A&T begins at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Simkins Indoor Tennis Center in Greensboro, N.C. The Spartans will face Elon on Saturday at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center in Elon, N.C. The match starts at 9:30 a.m.
