NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State athletics department will host a Kyle O'Quinn bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, Feb. 13 when the Spartans host Morgan State for a men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Alumni Day at Joseph Echols Hall.
 
The first 750 fans entering the arena and wearing NSU apparel will receive an exclusive bobblehead of the former NSU great, who led the Spartans to their first MEAC Championship in 2012 and an upset of No. 2 seed Missouri in the NCAA tournament. The doll features O'Quinn holding a basketball and wearing his white No. 10 NSU jersey with green lettering.
 
The doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m. on Feb. 13, starting with the women's game against Morgan State and followed by the men's contest against the Bears. Doors will open at 3 p.m., and bobbleheads will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
The bobblehead is sponsored by SunTrust and Smoothie King.
 
O'Quinn is currently in his fourth season in the NBA and the first with the New York Knicks after being drafted and spending the first three years with the Orlando Magic.
