NORFOLK, Va. – All home volleyball matches in 2019 will be streamed live through the Norfolk State athletics website, the department announced today.
For the ninth year in a row, NSU will broadcast all home regular season matches for the volleyball program. Those will be available through the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link,
www.nsuspartans.com/watch.
Cost of the video for volleyball is $5 per match or $45 for a season pass. The latter includes a $10 savings off the collective match-by-match price.
NSU volleyball will play 11 home matches in Gill Gymnasium this year, beginning with a non-conference match against Hampton on Aug. 31. All eight of the team's MEAC contests along with two other non-conference matches later in the season will also be shown live.
The Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link can be found on the front page of the athletics website, under the Multimedia tab at the top. The direct URL link for each specific match can be found on the volleyball schedule page or through the calendar on the front page.
Each broadcast will have a desktop DVR function, allowing fans to pause, rewind and fast forward at their convenience within the live event. Each match will automatically be available in the on-demand video section immediately after the conclusion of the event.
Along with desktop and laptop computers, the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming webpage is also accessible via all Android and Apple tablets and smartphones. Fans can watch any live or on-demand Norfolk State athletics event while on-the-go.
Subscribers must create a username and password prior to making a purchase. Fans who purchase match-day passes must buy them the day of the actual contest.
