NORFOLK, Va. - The regular season comes to a close this Sunday when Norfolk State men's basketball hosts St. Mary's College for a non-conference contest at Joseph Echols Hall. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. between the Spartans and the Seahawks.
NSU owns a 13-7 record after closing MEAC play with a 31-point win over Delaware State on Wednesday at home. The Spartans won no worse than a share of the MEAC Northern Division title at 8-4. They will know their seeding in the MEAC Tournament following the conclusion of the regular season for both Coppin State and Morgan State (6-4 each).

St. Mary's College at a Glance
The Seahawks own a 1-3 record on the year but have played eight other games that only counted as exhibitions, with another two on tap this weekend at home against Marymount University on Saturday and at NSU on Sunday. St. Mary's College lost to other MEAC schools Morgan State (99-41) and Delaware State (75-58) earlier this year. Gary Grant has averaged 17.0 points and 6.8 rebounds in the four games that counted toward their official stats. He is one of four players in double figures over that time along with Olumide Lewis (12.0 points), Daryn Alexander (11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds) and Micah Henry (10.8 points). The Seahawks are members of the NCAA Division III Coast to Coast Conference, which also includes NSU's fellow 757 brethren Christopher Newport.

Norfolk State scored 16 straight points early in the first half on the way to an easy 86-55 win over Delaware State on Wednesday. The Spartans shot 50 percent from the floor and forced DSU into 28 turnovers, 20 in the first half alone. On Senior Night,

Kyonze Chavis added 10 points and seven boards. Juniors
Jalen Hawkins (17 points, 6-of-12 field goals) and

• The team is up to 75.0 points per game, which would rank as the most since 1999-2000 (76.0) and the third-most in its D-I history. Fan Attendance Update
NSU will not have fans in the stands this season. Echols Hall will be restricted to the team travel parties, essential personnel, media and a limited number of family members and NSU students due to Governor Ralph Northam's Amendment to the Executive Order 67 that limited attendees at sports venues to 250 people.
The Norfolk State Athletics Department will sell season streaming packages through its website on Spartan Showcase Video Streaming for $50, covering both men's and women's home games. Individual game passes are also available for $10 per game.
