Â
William & Mary comes into Saturday's game, like NSU, off a loss to Old Dominion. After defeating Norfolk State, the Monarchs took down the Tribe 72-62 a few days later.
Â
But William & Mary has fared better in other in-state matchups, highlighted by a thrilling 58-57 triumph over Richmond. Junior Ben Wight provided the go-ahead tip-in against the Spiders with 28 seconds remaining, before the Tribe secured the crucial stop on the other end to hold on.
Â
Wight leads the team with 11.5 points per contest, with Anders Nelson (10.3) and Gabe Dorsey (10.1) following closely behind. Dorsey has emerged as a marksman from behind the arc, knocking down 30-of-66 3-point attempts this season (45.5 percent).
