NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State University women's basketball head coach Larry Vickers will speak at the Norfolk Sports Club luncheon on Monday, April 24. 

Why just watch and read about athletes when you can meet them! Come and join us for lunch and listen to some of the personal experiences current and former players, coaches, and officiating officials had during their careers.

The luncheon will take place at the Hits at the Park Restaurant at Harbor Park (150 Park Avenue Norfolk, VA 23510) at 11:30 AM. Spartan fans that wish to attend the luncheon may purchase tickets HERE. Tickets to the luncheon at $30. 

Coach Vickers, a 2007 graduate of Norfolk State University, led the Spartan basketball team to the programs first MEAC Championship Title since 2002. Vickers was named the 2022-23 MEAC and BOXTORROW Coach of the Year. He coached back-to-back MEAC Defensive Player of the Year in Camille Downs. Downs and Deja Francis were named BOXTORROW All-Americans after helping lead the Spartans to a 26-7 season and an NCAA First Round appearence.
