NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State punter Noah Tracey has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Specialist of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Tracey turned in a standout performance against Wofford, recording 328 total yards on seven punts, averaging 46.9 yards per punt. He notched a pair of punts over 50 yards, including a long of 65, and registered two touchbacks in the contest.
The junior currently ranks fourth in the MEAC in punting average (39.9). This season, he has totaled 26 punts for 1,037 yards, with four touchbacks, six fair catches, four punts inside the 20-yard line, and three punts of 50 yards or more.
The Spartans (1-6) return to action on Saturday, Oct. 25, hosting South Carolina State at William "Dick" Price Stadium for their MEAC opener and Homecoming game.
