NORFOLK, Va. --- Norfolk State sophomore guard
Anjanae Richardson will return to Norfolk State for the 2025-26 season.
Richardson played a critical role for the Spartans this season, winning MEAC Sixth Player of the Year while also earning a spot on the All-MEAC Third Team. She averaged 9.7 points per game, adding 2.1 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.
Richardson held a 38.3 percent field goal percentage, while shooting 30.7 percent from behind the arc and 68.6 percent from the charity stripe. She also currently sits in 15th place all-time for most made 3-pointers at NSU with 70.

Norfolk State comes off a historic season, winning a third consecutive MEAC Tournament Championship. The Spartans made their fourth-ever trip appearance in the NCAA Tournament, earning a No. 13 seed, marking the program's highest seeding in the tournament.
