As a sophomore, she notched a career-high 28 points in a win over Cincinnati.

A decorated high school athlete, Clinton was named the 2020 Virginia Powerade Player of the Year, helping lead Princess Anne High School to an 80-4 record and three consecutive state championships. She was also named All-Class 5 Player of the Year, First Team All-State, First Team All-Beach District, and First Team All-Tidewater as a junior.
