JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Norfolk State men's track and field capped off its historic 2024–25 outdoor season on Friday evening at the NCAA East Preliminary Round.

Kristopher Stephens and
Jayden Gordon opened the day for the Spartans in the triple jump. Stephens posted a mark of 48 feet, 5.5 inches, taking 33rd, while Gordon jumped 47 feet, nine inches to place 42nd.

Tafari Bishop followed on the track, running a 50.77 in the 400-meter hurdles quarterfinal to take 20th place.
Kendrick Winfield clocked 20.81 in the 200-meter quarterfinal, finishing 22nd.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Bishop, Winfield,
Vincent Bond Jr., and
Donovan Terry recorded a time of 3:08.36, placing 23rd overall.

The NCAA East Regional concludes on Saturday, with Brooklyn Robinson competing in the 100-meter hurdles quarterfinal at 6:15 p.m.
