HARLEM, N.Y. – Norfolk State graduate
Tyrel Bladen has been selected to play in the 2025 HBCU Allstar Dream Classic, marking the second offseason showcase for the 6-10 forward.

Bladen will compete in the third annual event held at Rucker Park, bringing together 40 of the best HBCU basketball players in the world.

Athletes at the HBCU Allstar Dream Classic will represent the CIAA, MEAC, SIAC, SWAC, Gulf Coast, NAIA, and independent conferences. The impressive list of attendees will include professional coaches and sports agents.

The HBCU Allstar Dream Classic will take place on Aug 9, packed with a full day of action. The festivities will begin with a women's 3v3 tournament at 1:30, before the women's HBCU all-star game (5v5). The men's game will headline the event, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Bladen averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest last season for the Spartans, shooting 55.4 percent from the field. He scored a season-high 16 points in a win over Delaware State, shooting a perfect 8-of-8 from the floor while grabbing six rebounds.
