NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State announced kickoff times for its highly anticipated 2025 home football slate on Friday afternoon.

The Spartans will open the season against Towson on Thursday, Aug. 28, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. The game will air nationally on the ESPN family of networks. The matchup marks the first night game at William "Dick" Price Stadium since 2021.

Norfolk State hosts Virginia State on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. after narrowly defeating the Trojans 28-23 last season.

The Spartans return home on Saturday, Sept. 20, to face Sacred Heart at 4 p.m. SHU has won both previous meetings, including a 10-3 victory last year in Fairfield, Conn.

After a three-game road stretch, Norfolk State returns to William "Dick" Price Stadium for Homecoming against South Carolina State on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m.

The final home game of the season is set for Saturday, Nov. 15, when the Spartans take on Morgan State at 12 p.m.

The 2025 season marks the beginning of Michael Vick's head coaching tenure at Norfolk State, drawing historic attention and excitement from the Hampton Roads community.
