NORFOLK, Va. --- Norfolk State junior guard
Da'Brya Clark earned MEAC Player of the Week honors for the third time this season after her record-breaking performance at South Carolina State.
The Baltimore, Md., native knocked down a single-game school-record nine 3-pointers in an 85-41 win at Orangeburg on Saturday, breaking the previous mark of seven set by Raychele Payne (Jan. 28, 2008) and Trena Clark (Nov. 25, 1989). Clark also recorded her second career double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds, adding five assists, four steals and two blocks.
Norfolk State returns to Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall on Thursday, Jan. 22, to face Morgan State at 6 p.m.
