NORFOLK, Va. --- Norfolk State women's basketball players
Da'Brya Clark and
Carmen Kweti earned weekly MEAC honors, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Clark collected MEAC Player of the Week honors for the second straight week and the fourth time this season. She scored 30 points in a win over Coppin State, knocking down 8 3-pointers, the second-most in a single game in program history. Clark also posted five rebounds, three blocks, and one steal.
In a win against Morgan State, Clark added 13 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Kweti earned MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time this season. She grabbed 10 rebounds against Coppin State, while adding nine points, four blocks, and two steals. In the win against Morgan State, Kweti finished with six rebounds, four points, two steals, and one assist.
Norfolk State will travel to Howard for a 2025 MEAC Championship rematch on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
