Clemisha Prackett Signs with Norfolk State Women’s Basketball

NORFOLK, Va. --- Norfolk State women's basketball head coach Jermaine Woods announced on Wednesday morning that Clemisha Prackett signed with the program.
 
"Clemisha 'Moo Moo' is a valuable addition, offering instant offence and rebounding prowess," Woods said. "Her relentless pursuit of rebounds showcases her determination and her competitive drive. With her experience, she will bolster our forward position and her fit with our team's culture and standard is seamless. We are delighted she chose us."
 
The 6-foot transfer forward from Indiana State averaged 10.8 points and 7.9 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game. She recorded 11 double-doubles and scored in double figures 18 times. Prackett shot 51.9% from the field and added 24 blocks and 22 steals.
 
"I am excited to join the Norfolk State women's basketball program," Prackett said. "NSU has a rich tradition of excellence and a supportive community that already feels like home."
 
Before Indiana State, Prackett played at Mississippi Valley State, where she averaged 8.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She also spent one season at Alabama A&M. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Prackett attended West Memphis High School.
 
Norfolk State finished the 2024-25 season with an 18-15 record, marking its fifth consecutive appearance in the MEAC championship game and the program's second WNIT berth. The Spartans also ranked second nationally in field goal percentage defense and third in 3-point field goal percentage defense.
