NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State women's tennis team dropped its second match of the season 6-1 to James Madison University on Saturday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center on the campus of Old Dominion University.

NSU's (0-2) only win came from Lerissa Morris (Kingstown, SVG) at No. 3 singles. Morris won in a third-set tie breaker (6-1, 3-6, (10-8)) over Anna Khoor.

JMU (2-3) won the third doubles match and the No. 6 singles match by default.

The Spartans are off for the remainder of the month. They will take on the University of North Carolina Wilmington on March 1 at 8 a.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.
