NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State athletics program is proud to recognize 126 of its student-athletes for earning their way onto the Athletics Director's Honor Roll for the fall semester.

Athletes must have a 3.0 semester GPA to earn selection. The group of 126 – NSU's largest in a term since 128 earned the honor in the fall of 2015 – will be recognized during the Feb. 17 home basketball doubleheader against Coppin State at Echols Hall.

The NSU baseball team led the way with 25 of its players earning AD Honor Roll. Football had 20, women's track/cross country and men's track/cross country both had 16, volleyball had 15 and softball had 14. The women's basketball program had seven members on the honor roll, bowling and men's tennis five each, and women's tennis three.
