BETHLEHEM, Pa. – NSU sophomore
Mercyline Kimaiyo placed fourth in a field of nearly 400 runners on Friday at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
Kimaiyo finished the 6K course in 20 minutes, 58.7 seconds against a deep field of teams from through the Mid-Atlantic area. The time is the best for 6K in the MEAC this year.
Junior
Tynniesia Wilson also cracked the top 100 in the race, posting a time of 22:43 to place 97th.
Kara Grant was the next Spartan finisher, posting a time of 22:58.9, while
Emani Thompson rounded out the team's lineup in a time of 25:23.4.
The Spartans have next week off before returning to action at the Panorama Farms XC23 Invitational in Earlysville on Oct. 15.
