NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State defensive back
Terron Mallory was selected as the HBCU Defensive Player of the Week by College Football Network, the website announced on Monday.
Mallory accounted for two takeaways – an interception and forced fumble – in the Spartans road victory over Towson on Saturday. He made a team-high eight total tackles, including four solo tackles.
The Spartans return to action this Saturday at William "Dick" Price Stadium against former MEAC rival North Carolina A&T State. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
