PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Jennifer Chichester (Silver Spring, Md.) continued her stellar freshman cross country campaign Saturday by running the fastest time of the season for the Norfolk State women at the Cappy Anderson Invitational hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore.

Chichester completed the 3.1-mile course in 18 minutes, 20 seconds, to finish in third place overall. Chichester has finished been the Spartans' top finisher in each of the team's three meets to date.

Freshman Anastacia Limo (Kapsabet, Kenya) also finished in the top 20 for the Spartans. She came in 17th overall in 20:21.09 as NSU finished sixth overall out of seven in the team standings.

The Spartan women run in the Colonial Inter-Regional Challenge next Saturday at William & Mary.
